Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar is a British-American sitarist and musician. She is also the youngest and first woman to win a British House of Commons Award. Anoushka is a emerging star of Indian sitar. She is the daughter of Ravi Shankar and a former student. Born in London in 1982, and was a young girl who travelled from London in London and New Delhi. In New Delhi, she made her debut at just thirteen years of age. Then she relocated in Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999.
